Vacamp costs nothing today, for campers and for campsites. We haven't decided yet what, if anything, should cost money, and we'd rather work out what's fair for everyone than guess. Until then there's nothing to pay and nothing to cancel.

Why it's free
Free while we work out what's fair.
This isn't a trial, and there's no card on file to forget about. Vacamp is new, and we don't yet know what a fair way to pay for it looks like: for campers who check a lot, for campers who check once a summer, and for the campsites on the map. We'd rather find out than pick something today and regret it.
Tokens aren't a price in disguise, and they're not for sale. Every live answer means our servers asking a campsite's booking system on your behalf, and the balance keeps that polite. Whatever we decide, it will be written on this page, in words as plain as these.
